Habundo. It was what one could call an after effect of the War, a reconstructed dream of generations. Yet it stood as a monument, a gravestone to the past, housing all of the memories of every life that once lived and moved within Tokyo's reaches, it also showed what the human race were. They were like a phoenix, always rising back up from the ashes.
Today, most people had begun to forget the war, the younger generation not even involving their concern into the subject. It would become yet another boring lesson from the history books. and eventually, it would be all but forgotten as time passed by.
Narin though, whilst young he would not forgot, so long as he lived. His travels after being kicked out of Ginza-Ko had brought him across numerous sights and experiences. The ruins of the old world, the lives devastated and the sorrow and happiness found in the aftermath, it had changed him considerably. Returning to Japan, he had found he was not the same person he was when he had left.
It was why, today he stood upon the balcony of a sky scraper, looking right down at the ants below, going about their business, and their lives. His arms rested upon the balcony's barrier, his upper body arched forward as he stood looking over the balcony. Off in the distance, one could see some Soul Brawlers running right up a building, and leaping right across to another. Narin, he could only dream of a day where he could do the same, to rid himself of his mortal coil and join everyone else in the sky.
There he stood in thought, resting on the barrier, up until he heard a door, and some footsteps. Was it one of the building's Kaishains? No...it was someone else. Turning, Narin would not speak, merely stand looking at the new comer.
