"Rosa nam meus amorem," I muttered under my breath before letting go of a rose during a fervent breeze of wind, and I turned my head to watch it be carried to my right. A small puncture was on the tip of my right thumb, and a a drop of blood fell down to the ground painting the grass with my eloquence.
As my eyes followed the rose I realized it was being aimed right toward another person in the distance. This caused for my eyes to widen with a small hint of concern glittering within them before they returned to their normal passionate and deep but sorrowful gaze.

A bright kimono hugged Mai's small frame as she headed home. Designs of flowers covered the fine clothing. It looked quite expensive, but it was a shame that it didn't belong to her. It belonged to the place she was currently working at. She spent the last few hours working at a restraunt, serving drinks to old men and carrying food. It was one of the many jobs she did to stay alive and make a living.
The wind blew, making pieces of hair fall out of Mai's bun. It caused her to groan because she hated windy weather more than anything else. She took another step forward as her eyes caught something bright red flying past her. Her right hand moved forward. To her surprise, the bright red thing was a rose.
"What is this doing here?"
Avoiding the thorns, she turned it in her hand and examined it. Her head lifted slightly, wondering where this flower came from. Finally, she saw a man only a few feet away. There were no words to explain the look he had on his face. Was it sadness? No, it was something much different.
