Sorry for the constant questions, but I was wondering what the base language was for the board.

Do the characters speak in Japanese though we're expressing it in English, or do we just all speak in English with our characters?

Having a character which speaks both ancient Latin (for romantic effects), and speak English, I need to know if there is a language barrier because everyone else actually speaks Japanese.

I think that if we speak in a language other than English, then we should have translation in parenthesis.

Considering the storyline, I'd say it's a society mixed with English and Japanese, and people know both languages. I'd say it matters on preference really. Shira knows both. I can't really answer that truthfully though.

The majority of people will speak both English and Japanese. Considering the storyline, during the war a lot of Japan would have been Westernised due to various parts of Japan being taken over by British and American forces.
