In the job section it says that you gain a base of 5 money per post (I don't know how to make symbols), but I made my first post and only got 4 money.
Is it a problem with the coding or is the job system written out wrong?
Also, I might note if you do raise it to 5, you need to fix everyone who has already posted, I think.
Just trying to help!

when it comes to normal money for every post IC, you get 4. originally we were supposed to get 5 but it was changed when the code was actually put in
the way jobs are run is that you post, and at the end of the month, your posts are tallied, and you are given a lump sum based on the number of your posts.

You might want to edit the first part of the post in the job's section then:
The Job section of the board operates differently to the other IC sections. Within this section, you will gain ¥10 per post rather than the standard ¥5 that you gain per post in other sections.
It's really confusing!

mm....i'll ask narin to do that next tim i see him then. but as it was, the number was changed from 5 yen to 4 yen. why? i dont know, but hey.

This was due to the old money code mysteriously dying of its own accord. I've editted the new money code into that section, to give 10 per post.
Just a note however, since this has never really been done before on any other board, the system is a test. In theory, it should work, yet the real results may differ.

I've just performed a quick test, the coding works fine. The job section now gives $10 per post. Issue solved.

Apologies, I've discovered a bug with the money system, meaning that the test came back as a failure.
I'll update the money write up accordingly.
Basically, ontop of the +$4 per post in the job section, you will also receive an additional +$6 per post.
To receive this addition, you must finish your thread and send it to myself, to which I will add the reward money to your account.
Apologies, I expected the coding to work.

actually, it didnt work.
the secondary money code just gave 2 sections in the mini profile that said 'money' AND it was ONLY in the jobs section. to make the code we're looking for, it'd require intimite knowledge of the codes. that which we dont possess.

near as i can tell Narin's just gonna do it by hand like its usually done on RPBs with jobs.
