What is the limit?

I've got a bunch of ideas for the element I am going to use, and I'm just curious about how many techniques I'm allow to have at the start.

Also, if possible.. Could I possibly get an example of how strong an attack would be, if my character had 20 for soul?

It's one Soul Skill at the start. Money and such is used to buy new ones and level up your old ones.

Soul isn't used for the strength of the Soul Skill, Soul goes to how many times you can use said skill and how long you can keep it up before exhausting your energy.

Question is, what soul type are you?

Lotus or Neo? Neos over all have less powers than Lotus souls since Lotus are supposed to be all around elementalists, meaning they might have an ability for each element. The format for that isn't 100% finalized but based on what was said in the spam thread, i think that's the basic idea. As for power, we havent been around long enough to quite exactly judge. just know you're not gonna be making 20 foot walls of rock, 8 feet thick, and generally warm up into the degree of power. That's what the rest of us are doing >_<

Both Neo AND Lotus Souls have control over all four elements. Lotus just starts out able to control all four to some extent. Neo Soul users need to upgrade themselves to use other elements. Lotus still has a Soul Skill with their four elements, such as making a Flaming Sword in battle or an Ice Lance, you know that kind of stuff. They start out with one Soul Skill but can still use all elements to some extent.

I'm a Neo Soul user and start out with the Soul Skill to make Ice Armor for myself. I can learn other abilities, such as Fire Fists or Earth Boots or something along those lines after I get them. They are just like level ups.

Sure, we won't be able to make huse walls that are the size of a house or something. However, it will probably be possible as we increase in power with out level ups.

I thought I read that Neo soul users can only have ONE element.. It's just stronger then that of the Lotus users..

thats more what i meant. Lotus have the ability to use all the elements from the get go, but only one specific....spell for an extreme lack of a better term per element.

hmm i think many of you got this wrong, Lotus is more of a range user, and no they dont have control over all element powers at start, they can only focus on one at the beginning, later you can extend your skill, same with Neo, they are more of the "perfect Evolution", they can use advance techniques then the Lotus type, the Lotus type cant really go out to a maximum extreme like Neo cause their powers are more "body" wise, due to the Neo Genetic Spores,.

For example, A fire neo soul user at a high number of soul stat can for exmaple enflame themselfs (like "The Tourch" from Fantstic Four)

Lotus in the other hand is more of a "Alchemist" type, they can manipulate and use things in their surounding, for example, you have a lighter and like that you can create a flaming sword, or use a smashed car to send out 20 metal spears like rain, and so on. so yah Lotus isnt really an "infected" person, they just have the spiritual ability to bend, thats why they are called Louts, the Lotus is a pure flower and knows and Mother Nature's children so yah, thats a short explination, i hope it helped

btw, 20 in soul would be enough for you to create a stable attack or "mode"

Okay, to avoid any more confusion, I'll update the type explanations in the rules either later today or tomorrow and I'll notify you all once its been done. Right now I'm struggling to find time to do that so you'll have to bear with me.
