Shira Servia took a breath of the air of Habundo. It didn't compare to taking a breath in the enviroment of Ginza-ko, with it being surrounded by nature, but it was a breath that was different to her. More importantly, it was a breath of freedom. A sign that she was finally able to explore the different areas around here and the world beyond.
Shira had been to Habundo before with her parents, the last time three years ago, but lately they've been coming back less and less. Ginza-ko seemed to have what they needed to live on. Shira wanted to experience more than the area around Ginza-ko. Boy was this place different than Ginza-ko. The high technology of this place was complete opposite of the nature of her home.
Shira let out the breath she had taken in and looked at the money hidden deep in her clothes. She had saved up for many years with her family and had quite a bit on her and more at home. Living in a place like Ginza-ko, one would find it easy to save money if one tried hard enough. Shira's family was one of those types.
Her phone rang and she got another text from Taku, her step-brother, asking is she was okay. Despite her having more freedom, Taku still worried about his little step-sister. She texted him back with a 'stop bothering me' except in a more polite tone and started off.
She looked around the area nearby. She had no idea where to start and what to do in a place like this. Well first thing was first. Her stomach grumbled. She hadn't eaten at all today, wanting to get a quick start.
She entered a nearby fast food place and ordered a Cheeseburger and a Drink and took a seat at a table. While she was free, she felt lonely. She needed friends to spend time with, but the friends she had at Ginza-ko either were too young or didn't want to leave the area of Ginza-ko and it's peacefulness.
Shira let out a quiet sigh.

Ginza-Ko, it was a place of hatred.
The people of Ginza-Ko hated the likes of Narin, and the people of Habundo. Technology using people, who were believed to be polluting the once great planet. The people of Ginza-Ko generally blamed everyone else for the outbreak of the war those years ago, and if anyone had the smallest bit of technology present in their lives, they were treated like an outcast, or a freak, chased away with fire and pitchforks like some kind of deformed monster.
The thought of it led Narin to clench his hidden metal fist, the leather of his glove stretching under the table as he did so. Those sorrowful eyes of him would stare over at the girl across from him, quite rudely at that. His face held a picture of absolute lack of emotion. Staring for quite awhile could potentially make somebody nervous, and it wasn't part of Narin's personality to be rude, hence he would finally speak out. His lips parted.
"You look like your a long way from home." The western boy would say in his relatively dull toned voice. He wasn't arrogant in his speech, merely monotone.

"You look like your a long way from home."It took Shira awhile to acknowledge that someone had spoken to her. There were many voices and gossip among the streets and shops and such of Habundo that Shira had grew to try to block out what didn't matter to her. She was also lost in thought. The voice broke her train of thought, which was thinking about what to do next, and looked at the one who spoke.
He was older then her, that was for certain, and the look in his eyes and tone in his voice could rival the hatred that she had heard some of the Ginza-ko people say about the ones who used technology. Shira and her family was different. They didn't hate anybody in particular. Why should she hate someone she never met?
"Yeah. This place is so exciting compared to the area of Ginza-ko. I like it, although I'm so lost..."
Shira spoke in a childish tone, which was something she did. She had the habit of switching between a Childish demeanor and tone and such to a very mature, adult person and back again. It mattered on how she felt and where she was.

"Yeah. This place is so exciting compared to the area of Ginza-ko. I like it, although I'm so lost..."
The boy would frown a little at the younger girls comment, though his fist would finally unclench as he brought his covered arm up and onto the table. One would question why that arm was completely covered with a long sleeve, whilst the other visible with a short sleeve. Narin however wouldn't give a straight answer in that regard. Right now however his focus was on this girl, she was interesting. She lived in Ginza-Ko but...
"How is it you like the city and technology if your from Ginza Ko?" the seemingly emotionless boy would ask. Then again, it wasn't entirely unheard of. In fact, Narin knew of somebody very similar, someone he felt quite fondly of as a child, yet somebody he had not seen for several years.
"It doesn't make sense." he would add. It would be clear that Narin's opinion had been somewhat twisted by his upringing. Due to his past, he had come to judge the people of Ginza-Ko as they had judged him growing up.

The boy had made a strange comment and it took awhile for Shira to understand why. Most of the People of Ginza-ko hated anything technilogical, but not everyone that lived there did. There was always some person or people that lived in a society but didn't totally agree with them.
"Just because I'm from Ginza-ko that doesn't mean I hate technology and such."
Of course, Shira's ideals seemed to be different from the world today. There was a lot of hatred and generalizing. Shira didn't exactly hate it, but she didn't enjoy it either. That was just one of those things that had to be tolerated in the world today.
"I take it you don't think too fondly of the people there."
If she had to guess by his sleeve, unless his sleeve was cut earlier by an accident to make it uneven, there was no doubt something he was hiding about the arm. Shira didn't care what it was. She didn't judge people. At that moment for a split second, Shira felt different in both a bad and a good way. She couldn't really explain it.

"Just because I'm from Ginza-ko that doesn't mean I hate technology and such."
That was true, the girl had a point. There were the odd few who didn't mind technology. The majority however did, and those who didn't mind it either conformed or lived true to themselves, obviously this girl was one of those people. He would also note that she was looking at his left arm, to which he would make haste in retreating it to back under the table. His right hand would grasp his metal wrist underneath the wooden table and he would sit silent for a moment as he looked down at the thing. He would grunt.
"I take it you don't think too fondly of the people there."
Narin would frown, shaking his head. His lips would part, yet for a moment he would stutter in putting his words across.
"I-It isn't that I hate them, I don't. I just return the feeling's sometimes. he would explain in a softer tone than before. This time he actually showed emotion in his tone and in his face, and it would be apparant to the girl that this was a touchy subject for him. He couldn't however say much more, he didn't like opening up to strangers, so a swift change of subject was in order.
"What brings you to Habundo?" He would ask, out of the blue at that.

From the tone in his voice he seemed a bit nervous about the subject and he quickly changed from before, where he spoke with no emotion. Shira didn't go any furthur into the subject. She had heard from her mother that hostilities between the Ginza-ko people and the people here and such would get pretty bad. Something undoubtedly happened and Shira decided to respect that memory and experience.
The man quickly changed the subject, asking what brought her from the environment of Ginza-ko to Habundo. Only one word left her mouth.
"Freedom."
It was said subconciously and it was a few seconds before she went on.
"Well, not really freedom. I turned sixteen a couple of months ago and was given the freedom of an adult. My parents are very protective having lost many loved ones. I'm basicly here to enjoy an enviroment other than Ginza-ko. I'm not sure really what to do here, which is why I feel lost."
The food came to her table but she did not yet start eating. She was too busy talking to the guy to eat.

"Freedom."
Freedom huh? It sounded nice. Thinking about it, maybe the city did offer certain freedoms from the world of ginza-Ko. Hell, for people who used soul energy, the city was nothing but a huge obstacle course. One could step outside and look up, to see somebody running right up a building. Narin was forced to stand and watch, chained to the floor. His dream was to one day break free of his shackles and fly up with everyone else. He couldn't use soul energy, he'd never been able to, never even tried. His arm acted as enough of a protection against the Neo Soul infected and element users, but it still wasn't quite enough.

It was hard to not know what to do in the city, the place was huge and full of sights, it really came down to personal preference. Since the girl was lost, maybe Narin could be a little helpful. He didn't have anything else to do right now. He had already checked his possessions into the hotel and gotten his room, so until next week he was free to do what he wanted.
"Well, what do you like to do? We have everything here, malls, arcades, sight seeing tours, a zoo. They even have train tours through the slums under the city, and to the old Neo Spore generator sites." he would explain, with a little enthuasiasm in his voice. He would note however that she had food ready to be eaten, and he too had his own to finish.
"Sorry, I won't disturb you if you have food to eat. If you like though, I could direct you in the direction you want to go." he would say as he lowered his head to look down at the table, where he would take of a sip of his coke.

What would she like to do? That was the million dollar question, wasn't it? She knew what she liked to do. She loved the elements. She loved nature. But Ginza-ko had all that. However, maybe there was something Habundo had that Ginza-ko didn't. Maybe it would lead her to something else she might like to do.
Shira looked down to her food as he mentioned it. She had forgotten for a second that she had gotten it. Her stomach grumbled again and she took a quick bite while thinking and swallowed it and took a drink before answering the guy's question. Maybe if he could just point her, she could be able to get started.
"Is there a place here where I can study about elements and souls or someplace I could look or find some information about it? I'm a Neo Soul user, and dream to be able to master my power. Maybe I can find some information somewhere here."
Was there information in Habundo? In a city like this there was no doubt someplace that had some information. The question was would it be helpful to her...she hoped it was, if she could find it.
"Or maybe you could take me around the city. You know, show me around, take me to some interesting places. You know, surprise me."
She felt she had to broaden her horizons.

Neo soul user? That was pretty darn interesting. Narin had only met a few of them during his travels, and even though it was completely normal in this day and age, they still suprised him when he saw their abilities. Narin would stare at the girl with his usual blank face for a moment, blinking.
"Well, there is one place around here you could go. Surely you've heard of the Neo Angelic Corporation right? It's headquarters are a little while away from here and they have some pretty good information on the Neo Soul's." Narin would explain. He would turn his head, looking right out of the window and down the long road of Habunda. His eyes would scan across the many Japanese charactered road signs, and the english one's which accompanied them.
"I'd be happy to take you there, if you trust me. I mean, I could be a rapist or a murderer or anything." He would say as he turned his head back to look at the girl. Yeah, he was joking around and all but, he was right wasn't he?

"It's a chance that's worth it."
Shira told him as she started on her sandwich. She started to eat slightly faster as she was interested in the Neo Angelic Corporation. She had heard of it, but that was about it. Hell, she would go through hell itself to master her power.
"Besides, I'm perfectly capable of handling myself."
Sure he was no doubt joking, but Shira told that to him anyways. If he did try something, he'd find Shira to be no easy meat. She let out a smile to the guy before taking a drink. She got another text from Taku, so she decided to turn her phone off. He worries too much.
"At least if taking me doesn't effect your schedule too much. I might find it myself."
No doubt the Neo Angelic Corporation would be easy to find and Shira knew both English and Japanese so she could read the signs. It this day and age, you basicly needed to know both languages.

The boy would listen to the girl. If she was a soul user, then likely as not she'd have an advantage over himself and any other person who attempted to attack her. Fair enough. Narin would finish his drink off, letting out a refreshing sigh before standing up. He would pick his cloak up, slipping it on. The hood would go up and over his head, covering his face. "I'll be waiting outside. When you're ready, I'll take you to the Neo Angelic building." Narin would say to her, before making his way out of the fast food joint. He would come to wait outside against a wall near to one of the entrances, and he'd do so with his head down towards the ground, keeping it covered just like his arm.
If the girl wanted to expand her knowledge of her abilities, the Neo Angelic Corporation building was the best place to go, and Narin could get her information far better than anything in the public files, that was for sure. It merely depended on how "willing" the girl was in learning more about her abilities.

Shira nodded and watched as the guy exited the place. She felt the guy was trustworthy at the moment and wouldn't just walk off and go on his own, but she wouldn't hold it against him if he did. Shira probably could find the place quite easily. But then, she didn't know until she tried. She wouldn't worry about that unless the guy actually did go off and leave her.
Shira quickly finished her meal and the rest of her drink. She payed the money she owed plus a small tip and counted the money she had left. The food didn't make much of a dent at all, but she was one of those people that always counted their money to make sure they didn't waste any and always had some.
Shira went out and looked for the guy. Sure enough, he had waited for her. Shira smiled as she saw he had waited and spoke to get his attention.
"Alright. let's go"

Waiting outside for the girl to finish, Narin would hold true to his word and actually wait, his face and head covered by his deep hood, he would be staring down at the ground, lost in his own world.
"Alright. let's go" He would hear the girls voice once again, and he would come to a stand, nodding. He would begin to lead the way, still lost in his own thoughts. There would be a relatively awkward silence as they moved. Narin was thinking about how he was to play things out, apparantly the girl had some elemental powers. He would have liked to see it, but he would simply take her word for it. If she was lying, it would be her own downfall, especially due to where they were currently heading.
"I'm Narin by the way." He would say to the girl, slightly out of the blue. His pleasant tone would lift the silence, yet one might have found the transformation in his voice quite odd.

Shira started to follow Narin. Shira was unaware of the awkward silence that had come between the two. She was too busy looking at the sites of Habundo, making note of a shop here and there she would want to check after her trip with Narin. She didn't want to stop him anf frankly she was more interested in the place Narin was taking her to at the time. She'd have plenty of time afterwards anyways.
Narin spoke up and it took her a moment to take it in. She told him his name. Had they not done that yet? One of the most common of courtesies? That was far from what Shira did. She hadn't even realized it. Was she that comfortable around the guy, or was it the trip to Habundo doing it?
"Oh, um, I'm Shira."
She really needed to try to get ahold of herself and try not to be lost in the vastness of the day.
